Policies & Procedures

Please read our Policies and Procedures listed below. 

 

2023 Update: Due to COVID restrictions, we are offering our acupuncture, acupressure, and holistic lifestyle consultations through outcall services by appointment.

Appointment Policies

Available by appointment Monday through Saturday.

Emergency services: After-hour and out-call appointments are available based on availability. Additional fees apply. 

 

Please call to schedule your appointment. We do not take appointments nor accept appointment changes or cancellations via email or online format.

 

Scheduling

First-time clients are asked to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow you ample time to complete a health-history intake form and to use the restroom so that your session will begin on time. Otherwise, all other appointments are asked to arrive 10 minutes early.

Please bring your reading glasses if need be to complete the health-history intake form.

 

Fees and Payments

All appointments are scheduled in advance with a prepaid Visa or MasterCard. Once appointments are set there are no refunds for cancellations or missed appointments. If you prefer to pay by cash, you will still need to give a valid credit card number at the time of scheduling. Prices are scheduled to change without notice. 

Discounted Series Packages

Are available for all of our services. These series packages can be used for you or with your verbal permission for family and friends. All discount series packages are non-refundable and are good for services only and expire 1 year from date of purchase. Discount packages cannot be combined with any other discounts or specials.

 

Seasonal Series Packages

Are available for massage and facial treatments that are scheduled on a weekly basis during the season. Seasonal Series Packages must be used within 4 months from the date of purchase. Seasonal Series Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable and can only be used by the same person.

 

Discounts and Specials

From time to time, Ashi Therapy may offer discounted specials on products and services through e-newsletter or on the website. These special offers cannot be combined with any other discounts or packages. We reserve the right to cancel or void any discounts or specials at any time without notice.

 

Ashi Therapy does not accept any discounted coupons during the months of June through August. To verify if a discount special may apply, please mention any discount or special offer at the time of scheduling your appointment or when making a product purchase.

 

We will match any comparative healing centers prices on services. (Excludes: Franchises and Chain Membership discounted services, student clinic pricing and discounted or free give-away promotions). You must provide proof of pricing and mention at that time of scheduling your appointment. This option is based on schedule availability and can be cancelled at any time. 

Insurance

Ashi Therapy does not do direct insurance billing. Ashi Therapy can provide you with an insurance receipt which lists all the pertaining codes for therapies received which can be submitted by you to your insurance company for reimbursement. We recommend that you speak directly with your insurance provider to verify coverage.

 

Prices are subject to change without notice. Ashi Therapy reserves the right to change any typographical error or misprinted information.

 

Prior to your appointment:

  • Do not eat a heavy meal or consume alcohol beverages or smoke prior to your appointment.

  • Please do not wear any aftershave, perfume, cologne, or artificial scents.

  • Shower prior to your session if you have exercised or worked out.

  • Please leave all jewelry and valuables at home.

  • Bring a contact lenses case for your contacts and reading glasses to fill out health-history intake form.

  • Turn off all electronic devices.

  • Please note: reflexology or massage to the body or feet cannot be applied if there is any type of bacterial, fungal or viral infection (including athlete's foot, toenail fungus warts, shingles, herpes lesions, poison ivy rash etc.)

 

All Natural: At Ashi Therapy we use only the finest quality naturally-sourced products available. No artificial ingredients or synthetic scents are used in any of our treatments.

Smoke-Free Environment: Ashi Therapy center and the outside grounds is a non-smoking environment.

 

Treatment Rooms:  For your privacy, all services are administered in individual treatment rooms. Please note we do not offer 'couple's massage' in the same treatment rooms.

 

Electronic Devices: To avoid disturbing anyone's session or the office we ask that ALL electronic devices: cell phones, pagers, cameras and videos and car alarms must be turned off during your visit at Ashi.

 

Children: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A written consent form for treatment must be signed by the parent/guardian before the session begins.

Pets: Please leave pets at home. If you have a pet in your car, please do not use the grounds for your pet's personal needs. The grounds are kept clean for walking areas and outside classes and activities.

We reserve the right to refuse to provide services to anyone based on our discretion. If an individual/s is under-the-influence of alcohol, drugs, acting inappropriately, or bullying anyone (including other clients/staff, etc.) they will not be permitted to enter the facility nor receive an appointment/service. No refunds will be given for prepaid services.
